Mail-in watch repair, with a plan before you ship.

Mechanical repair, crystal work, crown and stem repair, and vintage restoration begin with a review of your watch and the work you need.

Request a preliminary review

A clear path to service

Send the details. Review the plan. Decide.

  1. Tell me about the watch

Start with your watch, the problem, and photos if available. The preliminary review is free.

  2. Agree on the next step

We confirm any inspection fee and shipping arrangements before you send the watch.

  3. Approve the work

Review the proposed repairs, cost, and expected timing. No additional repair deposit is required below $500; a 30% advance applies at $500 or more, with approved committed parts or outside costs requiring a larger advance when applicable. Repairs begin after approval and receipt of any required advance.

  4. Receive your watch

We complete the agreed checks and arrange return after the remaining balance is paid.

1. Begin with the details and photos

Tell me the brand, model if known, symptoms, and any repair history. Include clear front, back, and problem-area photos if you can. We first consider whether the watch is suitable for service and what evaluation is needed.

2. Confirm fees and the shipping plan

Preliminary photo review is free. The $50 physical inspection is confirmed before shipment and credited toward approved repairs on the same watch. Extensive diagnostic disassembly is separately quoted and approved; no automatic vintage evaluation deposit applies. Shipping is separate.

Wait for written confirmation of the receiving address, carrier, packing instructions, declared value, separately accepted liability limit, available protection, and cost. Declared value alone is not insurance. Read the packing instructions and round-trip cost guide.

3. Review and approve the estimate

After inspection, I explain the recommended work, parts needs, price, and expected timing. Repairs require your approval. If the proposed work or cost materially changes, I contact you before proceeding.

4. Complete service and arrange return

The approved work is completed and relevant checks are performed. The remaining balance is due before return; verified inspection payments and advances are credited against the accepted total. Covered workmanship has a 12-month limited service warranty; normal wear and unrelated faults are excluded.

Would a packing kit help?

The optional Watch Concierge Kit is available for an additional quoted service fee. Kit and shipping charges are separate from repair or authentication. Requesting a quote does not authorize a charge.
