Six service categories
Standard quartz movement service or replacement labor. Replacement movement, battery and proprietary parts quoted separately; standard available case gaskets and suitable testing included.
Time-only and time-and-date manual or automatic movements; common Swiss and Japanese calibers. Additional parts quoted separately.
Vintage wristwatches, ladies’ mechanical watches, pocket watches and discontinued calibers. Condition and parts availability determine acceptance.
Selected Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Breitling and similar movements. Exact caliber, condition, parts access and required equipment determine acceptance.
Selected mainstream mechanical chronograph calibers; parts and specialist requirements confirmed before approval.
Selected luxury chronograph movements, individually quoted. Perpetual calendars, repeaters and exceptional complications require separate assessment and acceptance; no advertised price floor applies to those projects.
Movement disassembly, appropriate cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, timing and functional checks; standard available case gaskets; suitable pressure testing where the case permits; gentle case cleaning without metal removal; and a 12-month limited workmanship warranty. Additional parts and proprietary seals are quoted separately. Included work is never charged again as an add-on.
Prices are USD, per watch. Ranges are planning guidance, not fixed quotations or guaranteed maximums. The written estimate states the final scope, parts, discounts, tax, shipping and any required advance. Brand names are examples, not a guarantee of acceptance or manufacturer authorization.
Workshop times begin after approval, any required advance and parts availability. Weeks are calendar weeks. Shipping, diagnosis and approval add time; door-to-door delivery is not guaranteed. We aim to provide initial findings or an estimate within 3 business days of receipt and will update you if specialist diagnosis or parts research takes longer.
Only what you approve
Each line explains what is included. Additional work requires your approval; nothing is automatically added.
Review of your description and photos; not an authentication report.
A $50 physical repair inspection is confirmed before shipment and credited toward approved repair work on the same watch. The fee pays for a completed assessment and remains payable if you decline repairs or repair is uneconomical or impossible. Agreed return shipping is separate. Extensive diagnostic disassembly is quoted and authorized separately; there is no automatic vintage evaluation deposit.
Timing assessment and adjustment for a suitable running movement; overhaul and parts are separate.
Suitable test and documented result. Included with mechanical overhaul where appropriate; passing or original factory water resistance is not guaranteed.
Fitting labor. Standard available case gaskets are included with an overhaul; proprietary seals, crowns and tubes are quoted separately.
Polishing a suitable acrylic crystal; replacement is separate.
Standard stock acrylic crystal and fitting included. Unusual shapes or branded parts quoted separately.
Standard stock mineral crystal and fitting included. Specialty shapes and branded parts quoted separately.
Standard stock sapphire crystal and fitting included. Custom, branded, coated or magnifier-equipped crystals quoted separately.
Crown, tube and stem parts are additional; fabricated or adapted vintage stems require an individual quote.
Case/bracelet cleaning appropriate to materials, with required removal and reassembly; no metal removal. Routine gentle case cleaning is already included in an overhaul.
Suitable surface refinishing only. Case geometry, coatings and collector originality may limit or rule out polishing.
Typical customer price includes outside refinishing and handling. Any amount outside this range and specialist shipping are identified before approval; refinishing alters originality.
Replacement hands, unusual materials and specialist handling are quoted separately. Work affecting original luminous material is subject to assessment and acceptance.
Complex restoration commonly starts around $1,200, but this is a planning indication, not a minimum for every vintage repair.
Documented opinion based on supplied images; may be inconclusive. Separate Authentication Terms apply.
Agreed hands-on examination and documented findings. Shipping and repair work are separate; Authentication Terms apply.
Hard case, AirTag, seal, impact indicator and agreed label arrangements. Kit service, shipping and any confirmed shipment protection are identified separately.
Standard battery replacement and an appropriate pressure test. Specialty batteries, capacitors, proprietary seals and additional repair are quoted separately.
Payment & inspection credit
For each watch, no additional repair deposit is required below $500; at $500 or more, a 30% advance is due upon quote acceptance. The threshold uses the approved service and parts subtotal after discounts, excluding tax and shipping. Approved special-order parts and outside work may require an advance even below $500. The required advance is the greater of the standard deposit or those committed costs, not both added together. Inspection payments and other verified payments are credited toward the advance and final total. Work starts after approval and any required advance; the remaining balance is due before return. Approval never automatically charges you.
Example: An $800 service-and-parts quote requires $240 upfront in total. A verified $50 inspection payment leaves $190 to pay before work starts and $560 before return, assuming no other charges.
If you decline repairs, the completed inspection fee and agreed return shipping remain payable. Cancellation charges are limited to approved completed work and disclosed unavoidable commitments; unearned advances are refundable under the Service Terms.
